- What do I need to register on Lagnachi Jodi?
- Registration is free. You only need your mobile number, name, date of birth, and basic details. Your profile is ready in 5 minutes.
- Who can see my photos?
- Photos are blurred by default. They become visible once you accept interest from someone, or based on your privacy settings. You can also keep photos fully private.
- Is ID verification (Aadhaar) mandatory?
- No, ID verification is optional. However, verified profiles get priority in search results and a 'Verified' badge, which leads to more responses.
- When can I start chatting?
- Chat becomes available after both profiles have accepted each other's interest (Mutual Match). Chat is unlocked with a Gold or Platinum subscription.
- What is Guna Milan (Kundali matching)?
- Guna Milan uses the Ashtakoot method, scoring compatibility out of 36. It's optional, but a full report is available for Platinum members.
- Is my data safe?
- Yes. We never sell your data. Aadhaar is used only for verification — only the last 4 digits are stored. All data is encrypted.
- How do I cancel my subscription?
- Go to Settings → Subscription and cancel anytime. We don't auto-renew, so you won't be charged once your current plan expires.
- Why isn't my profile visible?
- New profiles go through a quick review by our team, typically within 24 hours. Profiles with 70%+ completeness get approved faster.
- What's special about Parent mode?
- During registration, select 'Profile managed by' — Self, Parent, Sibling, or Relative. Parent mode lets you manage everything on behalf of the candidate.
